“I am proud to join in starting Hispanic Heritage Month honoring the many contributions made by the Hispanic and Latino community to New Mexico and to the nation. We are committed to ensuring that Hispanic New Mexicans will have the opportunities to realize their dreams of a better life. The key to those dreams, of course, is education.  We are making it a real priority today in our state.  I am grateful for the leadership of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for the people of New Mexico,” Lt. Gov. Morales said.
